The ingredients for making this sauce are wonderful for health since beets contain high levels of protein and fiber. The sauce can be used for hamburgers, as a spread or added to a pasta.
3 onions, thinly sliced
8 carrots, thinly sliced
1 kitchen beet, finely chopped
Dried basil
1 tablespoon of ubemochi vinegar
2 tablespoons apple concentrate
Oil and salt
Preparation
Sauté the onions with oil for 15 minutes, add carrots, basil and 1 cup of water. Cover and cook for 15 minutes
Grind the vegetables, remove water if necessary and add beets to give it the desired color.
Keep grinding.
Finish with ubemochi and apple concentrate to give it the desired final flavor
