i am Hummus
Hummus is a dish born in the Middle East. Its name comes from the Indo-European word meaning earth and is composed of a paste of chickpea, tahini, olive oil and lemon.
The chickpea provides carbohydrates, which are energy generators, fiber, protein and fat. In addition to all these properties, chickpea paste has vitamins of all kinds in its composition and is a very satisfying food.
So that the chickpea does not swell, the secret is to soak it in water and remove the peel, since this is the reason why some people feel very full of air after eating it
Ingredients
600gr of cooked chickpeas.
2 tablespoons of tahina.
Extra virgin olive oil
Salt and Pimiena
1/2 lemon juice
2 cloves of garlic
1/2 bell pepper
Mix all the ingredients and grind them in a mini-pimmer or blender
For those who do not want to use olive oil, they can use a splash of almond milk to avoid fat.
Keep in mind that the pepper can be omitted, or changed, by any vegetable to color it and add flavor
